Hovea pungens (Devil's Pins)

A common species in the the south west of WA, where it grows in shallow soils among granite, sandy and clay loams, outcrops, coastal limestone on flats, woodland, low heath and undulating sandplains. Occasional records from SA and QLD are likely plantings.
