I've seen this once before. I don't know what it is or what causes it. It looks like orange red wattle gum but its always in droplets like these. The biggest one is .5cm long. I look around, and there are no wattles or gums above these plants. There are some weeds, some willows, and thats about it. Do caterpillars or something else excrete it? Why is it always in rounds like this? Don't know. Its very amber coloured. Just had a thought. The two only times I've seen it was both on or very near potato family bushes. Is it from them?

The droplets are derived from wattles, the plant itself is a solanum
