Having had a look at the species which occur in your area I'd encourage you to compare with Eucalyptus marginata (Jarrah), it is a broad-leaved species with fairly dense rough bark. To help us ID Eucalypts I'd suggest photographing the flower buds or mature fruit capsules (depending on what is available).
